Azerbaijani ambassador to Tajikistan Abbasali Hasanov has presented his credentials to President Emomali Rahmon. 
During the conversation they discussed the current state of and prospects for relationship between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan, in particular cooperation in the areas of heavy and light industry, hydropower, transport and communication, agriculture, tourism and culture.
They said the first meeting of the Azerbaijan-Tajikistan Intergovernmental Cooperation Commission to be held in March in Dushanbe would give impetus to the expansion of bilateral cooperation.
Ambassador Hasanov said during his tenure he would spare no efforts to contribute to developing relations between the two countries.
