On March 7th Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov met with the visiting Foreign Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu. 
Talibov underlined that steady developing relations between the two brother states play an important role in outlining region`s prospects, adding the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic has close ties with the regions of Turkey.
Talibov said mutual trust and confidence, strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Turkey is an example for the whole world`. High level reciprocal visits, documents signed between the sides contribute to deepening the ties. He also pointed out importance of the trilateral Nakhchivan meeting of Azerbaijan`s, Turkey`s, Iran`s Foreign Ministers for the expansion of regional cooperation.
For his part theTurkish Minister recalled Talibov`s visit to Turkey in 2010, saying reciprocal visits play a significance role in deepening cooperation. He underlined importance of Nakhchivan`s hosting important events.
The meeting was attended by the Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic, Turkey`s consul general to Nakhchivan Cenk Unal.
