On March 1st Azerbaijan`s Minister of Internal Affairs, colonel-general Ramil Usubov met visiting the Pakistani delegation led by the chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Khalid Shameem Wynne.
Usubov said friendly relations between the two countries have historical roots.
The Azeri Interior Minister noted these relations as part of strategic partnership were developing within international and regional organizations.
Usubov briefed the delegation on the current state of fight against organized crime.
He stressed the necessity of combine efforts in order to fight international terrorism, illegal migration, human trafficking, illegal drugs trade and cybercrimes.
Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Khalid Shameem Wynne noted Pakistan has always supported Azerbaijan`s fair position.
During the meeting, they also discussed a number of other issues of mutual interest.
