Experts have begun to translate documents found in Vatican's archive, director of Information and Translation Department of the Institute of Manuscripts of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Farid Alakbarli said. 
Experts first started to translate the documents in Latin including documents dating back to 15-16th centuries, the Sefevi`s State. According to Alakbarli, the process of restoration the Azerbaijani documents in Vatican's archives is also underway. Heydar Aliyev Foundation-funded restoration work is carried out by Vatican's experts.
The correspondence on Azerbaijan found in Vatican's archives, include 1000 pages.
