Azerbaijan`s Interior Minister, colonel-general Ramil Usubov met with Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces Necdet Ozel on Wednesday.
Ramil Usubov highlighted the development of current strategic partnership between the Internal Troops of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Internal Affairs and Turkish Armed Forces, internal affairs bodies, especially the Turkish Gendarmerie.
He also expressed his assurance that the visit will give its positive effects to the expanding of relations in the relevant sphere.
In his turn, Necdet Ozel expressed his confidence on his first visit as Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces to Azerbaijan.
Mr. Ozel praised the joint cooperation between the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan and Turkey.
