Relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey after signing of an agreement on strategic partnership and mutual assistance increased even more. Cooperation between the two countries is developing in all spheres.
The statement was made by the speaker of the Milli Majlis Ogtay Asadov during a meeting with Necdet Ozel, Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces on Wednesday in Baku.
Ogtay Asadov said that there is a legal basis for the expansion of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey. To date, more than 170 bilateral documents were signed between the two countries.
Asadov said that in difficult times Azerbaijan has always felt Turkey's support.
Necdet Ozel, in turn, expressed his satisfaction with his visit to Azerbaijan. He praised cooperation between the two countries in all areas, including military.
The sides emphasized the importance of mutual visits, exchange of experience in military and legislative spheres and discussed a wide range of issues.
