"The decision of the French National Assembly is unacceptable for us. If they express position on events occurred hundred years ago, they also should express position on the Khojaly genocide, turning of one million of Azerbaijanis into refugees and IDPs", said Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.
The Minister said that this decision serves nothing but creating problems.
Mammadyarov noted during his last visit to the region OSCE Minsk Group`s former French co-chair Bernard Fassier confessed the fact of the occupation of Azerbaijani lands. Everybody should perceive and confess this fact.
Mammadyarov also reminded that this decision was adopted by minority, about 10% of the French National Assembly.
