Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov held a number of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the 18th Meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Vilnius, Lithuania.
In the meeting with the OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier the sides exchanged views on OSCE-Azerbaijan cooperation. Azerbaijani FM briefed the OSCE official on ongoing negotiation process to settle the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Mammadyarov discussed current state of Azerbaijan-Ireland ties with the Irish Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade Eamon Gilmore. Irish Minister congratulated Azerbaijan on its election to the UN Security Council. The parties underlined importance of reciprocal visits.
Azerbaijani FM also met with OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media Dunya Miyatovich and discussed cooperation prospects.
