The 30th meeting of the special working group on elaboration of the Convention on legal status of the Caspian Sea took place in Astana.
Delegations of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkmenistan and Iran headed by deputy foreign ministers of these countries attended the meeting.
Azerbaijani delegation was led by deputy foreign minister Khalaf Khalafov.
"The 3rd Caspian Summit held in Baku once again showed that there is no discrepancy among the Caspian littoral states on this question, and the rest questions can recently be solved through negotiations", addressing the meeting, foreign minister of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Kazykhanov said.
Heads of delegations had exchange of views on expansion of further cooperation on the Caspian.
