Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Ogtay Asadov will visit St. Petersburg, Russia, to attend a meeting of the CIS Parliamentary Assembly Council.
According to the Parliament`s spokesman, Akif Nasirov, the Speaker will lead a parliamentary delegation including Rasim Musabayov, Rufat Guliyev and Safa Mirzayev.
The meeting will feature the discussion on the participation of the Council`s delegation in presidential elections in Kyrgyzstan and the results of a conference on the 65th anniversary of the Nurnberg process, and Neva international environmental congress.
The participants of the meeting will also attend a seminar for international election observers, and a sitting of the CIS Parliamentary Assembly`s commission on political affairs and international cooperation.
As part of the meeting, Asadov will meet chairwoman of the Russian Federal Assembly`s Federal Council Valentina Matvienko, chairman of the Ukrainian Verkhovny Rada Vladimir Litvin and heads of foreign delegations.
