It is time to make a decision to provide opportunities for reaching a compromise in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement process, said OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Kazakhstan's Secretary of State and Foreign Minister Kanat Saudabayev.
Saudabayev noted he was keeping a close eye on the negotiation process to resolve the dispute. According to him, the fact that the conflict still remains unresolved has a negative impact on the stability in the region and hinders realization of regional projects. Saudabayev noted the South Caucasus region plays an important role in global processes, including the energy security. The main part of Caspian oil is transported via this region, he added.
The OSCE Chairperson-in-Office also pointed out security and stability was important for investors, adding it affects export of energy resources and their price in world markets.
