Meeting of the organizing committee on preparation of carrying out of the Baku International Humanitarian Forum with participation of the heads of administrations of Azerbaijan Ramiz Mehdiyev and Russia Sergey Naryshkin ended in Moscow.{nl}

Making comments on results of session for mass-media, Ramiz Mehdiyev said that all complex of the questions, concerning carrying out of the Baku forum has been routinely discussed. "There were questions of organizational character, I even would tell, theoretical character, and questions which should be discussed at this humanitarian forum. So that humanism, humanitarian component penetrates almost all activity of human life. Therefore, the forum in this plan will be even somewhat original. Today, the working group will solve more concrete questions necessary to be implemented", Mehdiyev said.
Sergey Naryshkin added that "the forum will be extremely interesting". "We have discussed structure of participants and theme of discussions. Except plenary sessions, there will be some panels as humanitarian problems of modern models of economic development, philosophical problems of humanism, biotechnology and ethic problems. Very serious, philosophical, humanistic themes which should answer the questions facing by our societies, the mankind", Naryshkin underlined.
Answering the question on expectations from the meeting of the presidents of Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia on June 25 in Kazan, Ramiz Mehdiyev said that during the meeting of three presidents the question of Nagorno Karabakh will also be discussed, but now it is difficult to tell something concerning the expectations. "Anyway, we are hopeful. We hope that this meeting will give an impulse for advancement of this question, the question of Nagorno Karabakh. The position of Azerbaijan in this plan is known. Mr. President Ilham Aliyev repeatedly stressed that. It is territorial integrity and high autonomy for Nagorno Karabakh. And the discussions will obviously cover these questions. It is difficult what this meeting will bring, anyway, the public of Azerbaijan expects that this meeting will give a new push for advancement in this problem", Mehdiyev said.
Making comments on the originality of the forthcoming humanitarian forum, Ramiz Mehdiyev noted that originality of this forum consists that it is the first forum of such plan. "First, it is the international forum. Secondly, this factor is to be especially stressed, it is conducted at the initiative of two presidents - Russia and Azerbaijan, two states have incurred responsibility of carrying out of a similar international forum, and this is its originality. Earlier nobody initiated the discussion of universal problem of humanitarian interaction on world community level", Mehdiyev emphasized.
