On May 12th Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament (Milli Majlis) Ogtay Asadov met with President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE PA) Petros Efthymiou.
Asadov noted his country is interested in integration into Europe and established close cooperation with all international organizations, including OSCA PA.
Petros Efthymiou, in turn, outlined the role of Azerbaijan in the region. He expressed his confidence in further contribution of reciprocal visits to the development of bilateral relations.
The sides discussed the role of the OSCE in the settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and other issues.
