Speaker of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Kayrat Mami held a meeting with Azeri delegation led by Ogtay Asadov, speaker of the Azerbaijan Parliament (Milli Majlis). The meeting took place in Astana as part of the second meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking states to be held in Kazakh capital in April.
The speaker of the Milli Majlis said the results of the second plenary meeting in Astana will contribute to the development of parliamentary cooperation between two countries. Asadov also emphasized both Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan benefit from long-term stable and strategic cooperation as part of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking states.
