A three-day seminar "Structured dialogue" organized by European Union started here.
The aim of the seminar is to assist the development of civil society in EU`s Eastern partnership countries and boost constructive cooperation between government structures and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
Addressing the seminar, chief of the Azerbaijan Presidential Administration`s department for socio-political affairs Ali Hasanov briefed the participants on the development of democracy in Azerbaijan after restoration of its independence, formation of civil society in the country and its cooperation with governmental agencies.
The seminar brought together about 150 delegations from 30 countries.
