Justice Minister, Chairman of the Judicial-Legal Council Fikret Mammadov met with visiting Deputy Director of the Turkish Justice Academy Sami Sezai Ural.
The Minister underlined Turkey and Azerbaijan are successfully cooperating in a variety of fields including the legal one. He touched on teaching of judges and judicial candidates as part of President Ilham Aliyev-led reforms. Fikret Mammadov noted 80 judicial candidates attended a training last year in Turkey.
Ural pointed out justice and judicial systems are steadily developing in Azerbaijan. He made a few proposals to deepen cooperation between both countries` justice bodies
The sides discussed prospects for cooperation, building the capacity of the Justice Academy and importance of Istanbul's hosting 30th conference of European justice ministers in November.
