Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov has met President of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic.

Mr. Mammadyarov congratulated the President on her appointment conveyed greetings and sincere congratulations of President Ilham Aliyev.

Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic asked to communicate her greetings and best wishes to the Head of State.

They praised development of relations between Azerbaijan and Croatia in the political, economic and energy fields.

The sides also said signing the Zagreb Declaration on strategic partnership and friendly relations has created a fruitful political condition to comprehensive development of both countries` bonds.

They stressed the importance of soonest holding the first meeting of the joint commission on economic cooperation to promote economic bonds between Azerbaijani and Croatian Governments.
