Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed an Order to approve the Plan of Action as 2014 was declared the Year of Industry in the country.
The Order specifies the Ministry of Economy and Industry as a coordination body in organization of the execution of the Plan of Action.
Under the Order, the Ministry of Economy and Industry shall team up with Azerbaijan State Telegraph Agency (AzerTAc), Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting Company and Azerbaijan Press Council to ensure media coverage of work carried out under the Year of Industry, and organize visits of journalists to industrial facilities.
