Azerbaijani, Uzbek Presidents have expanded meeting

Following their private talk in Tashkent Presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Islam Karimov of Uzbekistan were joined by their delegations for an expanded meeting.
The Uzbek leader said reciprocal visits gave impetus to developing the relations between the two countries.
Islam Karimov recalled his 2008 visit to Azerbaijan, saying they had fruitful meetings with President Ilham Aliyev during it.
The Uzbek President praised Azerbaijani national leader Heydar Aliyev`s invaluable role in developing the relations between the two countries.
On the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Uzbek leader said his country supported Azerbaijan's just position.
President Ilham Aliyev said he attached a particular importance to his visit to Tashkent. The Head of State said traditions of development of the bilateral relations laid by national leader Heydar Aliyev and Uzbek President Islam Karimov were successfully continued.
President Ilham Aliyev said Azerbaijan had always praised Uzbekistan's supporting his country's just position at international organizations.
The two leaders also discussed a wide range of issues, including regional developments and economic, cultural and educational relations.
