On November 15th President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by Director of the International Monetary Fund`s Middle East and Central Asia Department Masood Ahmed.
During the meeting, they praised development of relations between Azerbaijan and the International Monetary Fund. They discussed prospects for further cooperation.
They stressed the importance of market economy reforms, and emphasized the significance of ensuring macroeconomic stability.
They also discussed development of information and communications technologies, tourism and agriculture - key priority fields for Azerbaijan.
