On October 9th President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus Henry Kerali.
They praised the relations between Azerbaijan and World Bank, saying they have been developing throughout their 20-years long history.
They praised the potential for expansion of cooperation between the country and the organization.
Henry Kerali said World bank was interested in Deeping cooperation with Azerbaijan.
They praised Azerbaijan`s economic achievements.
They stressed the importance of continuing reforms and cooperation in creating infrastructure, ensuring supply of renewable energy and drinking water, using the Caspian water for irrigation, creating high technologies based agricultural businesses, supporting local entrepreneurship, and diversifying economy.
