On June 22nd President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev inaugurated Defense Ministry`s new residential complex located in Yasamal district in Baku.

Minister of Defence, colonel-general Safar Abiyev rendered a report to Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev.

The Head of State cut the ribbon symbolizing an official opening of the residential complex.

President Ilham Aliyev familiarized himself with the conditions here.

Safar Abiyev updated the Head of State on the complex. He said all conditions were created for the servicemen in the nine-storied complex consisting of two buildings. The total area of the first building, which includes 184 three-room and 20 one-room flats, is about 30 thousand sq.m. The total area of the second building, which includes 105 three-room and 3 two-room flats, is approximately 18000 sq.m. The flats were provided with up-to-date heating system. The two substations were built to supply the residential complex with electricity and water. The territory saw the improvement works and got greenery.

President Ilham Aliyev saw the conditions created in the flats and congratulated residents of new buildings.
