President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Lithuanian delegation led by Interior Minister Raimundas Palaitis.
President Ilham Aliyev said bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Lithuania was developing successfully, and underlined the necessity of expansion of them in all spheres.
The Head of State underscored the necessity of establishment of good relations between the two countries` relevant bodies and expressed hope the Lithuanian minister`s visit would be successful and fruitful.
Minister Palaitis said Azerbaijan was developing very successfully. He expressed satisfaction with his first visit to Azerbaijan.
He particularly underscored the economic growth in Azerbaijan in spite of the financial crisis around the world.
Palaitis said his country was interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan in various spheres.
