On April 18th President of Romania Traian Basescu was given an official welcome to Azerbaijan.
A guard of honor was lined up for the Romanian President at the square decorated with the national flags of the two countries.

The Presidents inspected a ceremonial Guard of Honor as an orchestra played the national anthems of Romania and Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijani state and government officials were introduced to President Traian Basescu, while members of the Romanian delegation to President Ilham Aliyev.
