President Ilham Aliyev attended the inauguration of Heydar Aliyev Center in Astara on April 15th. The Head of State cut the red ribbon symbolizing the official opening and toured the Center. The construction of the Center started in January of 2011. The monument to the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev was erected in the entrance hall of a two-storey building. President familiarized himself with photographs and documents reflecting different periods of national leader Heydar Aliyev`s life and activity, and also toured chess room, art studio, applied art studio and e-library on the second floor of the Complex.
Then President Ilham Aliyev signed the Heydar Aliyev Complex`s Guest book.
