On October 26th President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev accepted credentials of newly-appointed ambassador of the Palestinian National Authority Nassir Abdul Karim Abdul Rahim.
The ambassador conveyed head of the Palestinian National Authority Mahmoud Abbas`s greetings to the Head of State. The diplomat pointed out the Authority is keen on expanding ties with Azerbaijan. He thanked the Azerbaijani leader for the support in opening of the embassy.
The Head of State underlined the importance of opening of the embassy for enhancing bilateral ties. He wished the ambassador every success in his career.
President Ilham Aliyev asked the ambassador to pass on his greetings to the leadership of the Palestinian National Authority.
