On October 25th President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev inspected the transfer and reconstruction work to be carried out at the Baku trade port.
At a recent Cabinet meeting to discuss the country`s socio-economic development in the first nine months of the year, the Head of State said the Baku trade port would be transferred, with its area being completely overhauled.
The President told the meeting the new port would be built in Alat, while the area of the former port will be made a tourism site.
President Ilham Aliyev inspected the preparatory work and gave relevant recommendations.
The Head of State was informed of the work to be carried out in the area of the new port.
