Azerbaijan President receives republic day greetings from Lithuanian leader

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received a letter of congratulation from Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitė on the occasion of May 28th - the Republic Day.
The letter says Lithuania and Azerbaijan are tied by common interests to ensure welfare, security and peace of their citizens.
"We can achieve these goals only by working in a resolute, open and constructive manner," said the Lithuanian President.
Dalia Grybauskaitė expressed belief that "our joint activity in the framework of the European Union's Eastern Partnership Program and deeper bilateral economic, cultural and political cooperation can contribute to achieving these goals."
The Lithuanian leader wished Azerbaijan's President and his people successes and prosperity.

Azerbaijan President receives republic day greetings from governor of Stavropol Krai
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received a letter of congratulations from governor of Stavropol Krai Valery Gayevsky on the occasion of May 28th - the Republic Day.
In his letter, Mr. Gayevsky described Azerbaijan as "one of the most dynamically developing countries, which is moving forward on the path towards strengthening statehood, boosting economic potential and improving people's living standard".
"Azerbaijan enjoys a growing international profile. And it is also developing strong neighborhood relations with the Russian Federation and its regions. Over the last seven years you've been worthily pursuing this course which was launched by the first President of Azerbaijan, national leader Heydar Aliyev."
Mr. Gayevsky also hailed the Azerbaijan-Stavropol relations, calling Azerbaijan "a longstanding and time-tested business partner".
He also wished President Ilham Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan peace and prosperity.
