“The Ganja events are provocation of the forces who dislike the region`s leading state – Azerbaijan,” Georgian MP Mahir Darziyev has told AZERTAC as he commented on Ganja incident.

Dayziyev noted that the Azerbaijanis living in Georgia were incensed by news on how radical religious group of about 200 people attempted to break stability and public order in the city of Ganja on July 10.

“Such illegal actions are aimed at undermining the political stability in Azerbaijan. The Azerbaijanis living in Georgia are against such actions and support the independent Azerbaijani state and its President,” Darziyev added.
