We have always known Azerbaijan as a country of oil and gas, now we see her in a different image – hosting a Shopping festival. This is the indicator of the fact that the country is strong in all spheres, said Zeyno Baran, head of the Eurasia Policy Center at the Hudson Institute, wife of former US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Matthew Bryza, as she was interviewed by the official website of the Baku Shopping Festival.

She noted that such events will move Azerbaijan′s economy and tourism further. Zeyno Baran emphasized that the number of tourists visiting Azerbaijan, and the intention of people to do shopping will increase this way. Mrs. Baran said she appreciates Azerbaijan’s step toward development of tourism.
