“The 4th Islamic Solidarity Games introduced not only Azerbaijan, but also all Islamic countries to the world. Azerbaijan showed to the world that it is possible to live in peace and solidarity,” said former Iranian ambassador to Tajikistan, Belgium and Switzerland, the country`s former permanent representative to UN Ali Ashraf Shabustari.

He hailed as an example President Ilham Aliyev`s attaching importance to multicultural values and calling on people to live in friendship. “Azerbaijan`s organizing the Islamic Solidarity Games and contributing to solidarity at a time when solidarity among Islamic countries is very much needed is a crucial step,” Shabustari added.
