150 open cardiovascular surgery operations have been successfully performed at the Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery Center of the Baku Central Military Hospital, Anar Emrah, M.D., Chief of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery Center of the Baku Central Military Hospital told a news conference today.
The Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery Center has been opened nine months ago and on special care and attention of the Azerbaijani President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. On instruction of the Head of State, equipped with all modern devices, the Center serves not only the servicemen, but also civilians.
All the cardiovascular operations were performed by the military-medical staff, the Chief of Center stressed.
