School number 11 named after Azerbaijan`s national leader Heydar Aliyev was opened in Astrakhan. Reconstruction of the educational institution located in the Baku Street was carried out at the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation and with financial support of the Azerbaijani state.
The Azerbaijani delegation led by the head of department of socio-political issues of Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov took part in opening ceremony.
"This educational institution which is equipped with modern devices, has been completely reconstructed, and is the symbol of friendship between Russia and Azerbaijan", the governor of the Astrakhan Province Alexander Zhilkin said.
"Opening of this School is important event in strengthening of humanitarian relations between Azerbaijan and Russia", Ali Hasanov stated. He has congratulated teachers and pupils on opening of the educational institution after Heydar Aliyev, completely reconstructed at the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Azerbaijani state.
