Emerson Process Management General Manager on BP Global Strategies Raoul Mercer has visited Baku Higher Oıl School (BHOS) invited by Process Automation Engineering Department. He conducted a workshop on “Upstream project responding to change” for BHOS first and second year students studying process automation engineering.

Speaking at the event, BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov highlighted the higher school`s relations with Emerson Process Management Company. BHOS Rector underlined that it was a good practice to organize the workshops and trainings conducted by representatives of international companies, saying this contributes to the development of BHOS students.

Raoul Mercer made detailed presentation on automation of oil production and large-scale application of automation within diverse projects.

The workshop featured a question-and-answer session with the Emerson Process Management General Manager.
