A delegation led by Renu Khator, chancellor and president of the University of Houston, has visited the Baku branch of the Moscow State University after Lomonosov to meet its rector, professor Nargiz Pashayeva.
The delegation was informed about the history of the university, its activity, international projects and programs.
They exchanged views on cooperation prospects.
Rector Nargiz Pashayeva said that historically Azerbaijani women had an important status.
Renu Khator said there were wide opportunities for joint cooperation between the universities, adding they were ready to support this partnership.
The US delegation is in Azerbaijan invited by the Baku High Oil School.
