On April 24th Azerbaijani Minister of Economy and Industry met a delegation led by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Spain Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo to discuss prospects for cooperation between the two countries.
Mustafayev noted that the bilateral relations between the two countries had been developing successfully in a variety of fields, including economy.
He highlighted the role of official visits, as well as meetings in boosting bilateral bonds based on mutual respect and fruitful cooperation.
The Azerbaijani Minister also noted that the visit of the Spanish delegation would contribute to expanding the bilateral ties.
The Minister highlighted the great potential for enhancing cooperation between the two countries.
He stressed the importance of signing agreement on expanding legal framework, especially promotion and mutual protection of investments in terms of expanding bilateral ties.
Mustafayev also spoke of the country’s economy, describing Azerbaijan as a reliable partner, cultural and economic center of the South Caucasus.
He noted that the political and macroeconomic stability had been ensured, and excellent conditions were created for investors in the country located in the favorable geographical position.
Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo noted that the economy of Azerbaijan had been developing rapidly, saying his county was interested in expanding bilateral ties with Azerbaijan.
Margallo also said that Azerbaijan’s diversified economy opened more opportunities for Spanish businessmen to make investments in the county.
