Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament, Ogtay Asadov met Ecuadorian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Integration Ricardo Armando Patino Aroca on Wednesday.
Asadov said such visits would contribute to development of bilateral relationship. According to him, Azerbaijan is among those countries which are developing rapidly and the country itself makes investments in economy of foreign countries. The Speaker said there were good opportunities for economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ecuador. He noted reciprocal visits would play important role in expansion of cooperation in all spheres.
The Speaker expressed confidence that the Ecuadorian Minister`s visit would be fruitful.
Ricardo Armando Patino Aroca expressed satisfaction with his visit to Azerbaijan when the country celebrates the 20th anniversary of restoration of independence.
The Minister said his country was interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan. Adding the visit would be fruitful for definition of opportunities for cooperation in various fields.
Ricardo Armando Patino Aroca also noted Ecuador would defend Azerbaijan`s stance in all international organizations.
