On October 12th, visiting President of Austria Heinz Fischer met with the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Artur Rasizade. 
The Austrian president expressed pleasure with his visit to Azerbaijan. Assessing the talks with President Ilham Aliyev as highly positive, Mr. Fischer said he is convinced the reciprocal visits will create grounds for development of bilateral cooperation.
President Heinz Fischer spoke of the prospects of Austrian-Azerbaijani economic cooperation, underlining the existent favorable environment among the business circles of both countries.
Prime Minister of Azerbaijan highlighted the guest on the economic reforms conducted in country. He expressed confidence the official visit of the Austrian President would give an impetus to boosting of economic cooperation between the two countries.
The parties had a comprehensive exchange of views on a range of questions of mutual interest.
