The First meeting of the working group on trade and economy between Azerbaijan and the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, People`s Republic of China (PRC) was held in Azerbaijan`s capital.
Speaking in the meeting, Azeri Deputy Minister of Economic Development Niyazi Safarov briefed the participants on economic achievements and reforms in the country.
Vice Chairman of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Hu Wei highlighted existence of close trade relations between the sides, stressing importance of expanding the ties.
The parties signed the working group`s protocol following the meeting.
