On June 2, the 7th annual Eurasian seminar of fiscal experts of the International Tax and Investment Center (ITIC) commenced in Baku.
The goal of the seminar is to gather the persons who are engaged in tax policy and tax administration internationally, representatives of the state and government, legislators, investors and independent tax experts. The action is one of the regional conferences corresponding to ITIC mission "to unite the people and resources". In previous years the seminar took place in capitals and big cities of the leading countries of Asia and Europe - Paris, Singapore, Dubai, Moscow and Astana.
The chairman of economic policy standing committee of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan, academician Ziyad Samedzade said that such regional actions are very effective from that point of view that brings together representatives of the state and government, engaged in tax questions, and also independent experts.
The deputy finance minister of Azerbaijan Azer Bayramov, having focused attention that economy of the countries participating in the seminar is similar to economy of Azerbaijan, noted the importance of carrying out of exchange of experience between these countries.{nl}

At the seminar, the attendees had exchange of views on various questions, in particular tax policy realized in the country for balanced interests of investors, questions of tax audit and dispute solution, activity of regional structures in financial sphere, etc.
The action is attended by representatives of the Eurasian Economic Association, the organization in the European Tax Administration, delegation of Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Georgia and Turkmenistan, the government of Azerbaijan, the independent auditor organizations.
The seminar will wrap up on June 3.
