Trend.az, reports, that the Ambassador spoke about the history of the oil and gas industry of Azerbaijan, the contributions of our country to the world's oil and gas industry, the energy strategy and the role of Azerbaijan in the energy security of Europe.

The "Southern Gas Corridor" project, including the Trans Adriatic gas pipeline, has become the main topic of discussion at the conference.

Speakers at the event emphasized the strategic importance of this project from the point of view of Europe's energy security, the diversification of energy sources and routes, and the emergence of Italy as the center of natural gas in Europe.
