A draft law on “State budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2016” has been adopted at a plenary session of the Milli Majlis.

Prior to the voting, Azerbaijan`s Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov highlighted some issues raised by the MPs.

According to the Minister, some proposals of the MPs were about the socio-economic development concept of the government. “The parliamentarians` proposals on improvement of housing and living conditions of refugees and IDPs have been taken into account, and the amount increased 50% to reach 150 million manats. The increase will be covered by the State Oil Fund.”
