According to the National Department for Hydrometeorology of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, currently, water richness holds  60-70% of decade norm in Quba-Khachmaz region rivers of Major Caucasus, 50-140% in Minor Caucasus rivers, 50-150% in Lankaran-Astara region rivers and 20% Nakhchivan AR.

Current condition in the transit rivers

On June 25, 8cm decrease in water level was issued in Giragkesemen settlement of Kura river. Currently water consumption holds 300m3/sec in the settlement, i.e 74% of decade norm (in 2017, 250m3/sec, i.e 62% of decade norm. 5 cm decrease in water level has been observed in Ayrichay settlement of Qanikh River. At present, water consumption hold 111m3/sec, i.e 67% of decade norm. (in 2017, 163m3/sec, i.e 98% of decade norm).

Current condition in the downstream of Kura river

On June 25, decrease in water level has been observed in the downstream of Kura River.

In this regard, 14 cm in Surra, 22cm in Shirvan, 40cm in Salyan, 8cm in Banka 30 cm in Novruzlu settlement of Aras.

At present, water level holds 349cm (on June 25, 2017, 428cm) in Surra settlement, 243cm (on June 25, 2017, 301) in Shirvan, 155cm (on June 25, 2017, 209cm) in Salyan, 177cm (on June 25, 2017, 201cm) in Banka, while 60cm (on June 25, 2017, 133cm) in Novruzlu settlement of Aras river.
