Slovakian representative promises maximum show for Baku

This year Max Jason Mai will fly the Slovakian flag in Baku, according to esctoday.com.
Max Jason Mai is a rock musician. His real name is Miroslav Šmajda and was born in in Košice. Max participated in the Cesko Slovenská Superstar and ranked second. He describes himself as someone who "loves people with a sense of humour and the good things in life", like music, sports, yoga, love, and nature. Talking about his music, he cites influences by a wide range of artists, like Led Zeppelin, Whitesnake, Alter Bridge, 30 Seconds To Mars, Dream Theater, Metallica, John Mayer, Enigma, Sade, Ennio Morricone, and even Antonin Dvorak.
Max Jason Mai wrote his entry for the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest. He is 23 years old and apart of singing he is a songwriter and rhythm guitarist. He recorded his song for Baku and his first single Don`t close your eyes with the American record producer Michael Elvis Baskette.
Slovakia wanted to take part in the Eurovision Song Contest for the first time in 1993 but narrowly did not make it, finishing fourth in the Eastern Europe semi final.
The Slovak entry will be performed as the fifteenth in the second semi-final, after the ballad from Estonia and before up-tempo Norwegian entry. Slovakia is currently standing at number 31 to win the Eurovision Song Contest. It also doesn`t look favourable for the country to qualify as it is the twelfth favourite to qualify from semi-final two.
