The Republic of Azerbaijan has received a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) in various currencies towards the cost of National Water Supply and Sanitation Project. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Contract No: DB/7460/LV/008/129 Construction of Water Supply Systems and Sewerage Collectors for Gabala Town and Contract No: DB/7460/LV/009/130 Construction of Water Supply Systems and Sewerage Collectors for Shamakhi Town
AZERSU Joint Stock Company now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction and completion of contracts:
NWS 5-1-1 Construction of Water Supply Systems and Sewerage Collectors for Gabala Town;
NWS 5-2-1 Construction of Water Supply Systems and Sewerage Collectors for Shamakhi Town.
International competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Bank's Single Stage Bidding Procedure with Post-qualification.
This bid is carried out on slice and package basis for contracts NWS 5-1-1 and NWS 5-2-1. Bidders may bid for any contract or combination of contracts. They may be qualified for one or two contracts provided that such bidders fulfill aggregated qualification criteria as described in Section III. Bidders are allowed to offer cross discounts in their bids for award of one or more contracts (slices). All bids and combinations of bids shall be received by the same deadline and opened and evaluated simultaneously so as to determine the bid or combination of bids offering the lowest evaluated cost to the Borrower.

The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the Bank Standard Bidding Documents: Procurement of Works.
Bids must be delivered to the address above by 16:00 Baku time on March 1, 2012 and must be accompanied by a security in the amount of 300,000 (three hundred thousand) USD for each Bidding Package separately.
A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of AZN 160 (one hundred and sixty Azerbaijani Manats) or US$ 200 (two hundred United States Dollars). The method of payment will be direct deposit to the account stated below. The document will be sent by courier if requested and additional non-refundable fee of AZN 200 (two hundred Azerbaijani Manats) or in US$ 250 (two hundred and fifty United States Dollars) shall be deposited to the same account
