1. The Azeravtoyol OJSC (AAY) has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Road Network Development Program and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract 01/2017/3116AZE Supply and Delivery of Construction Material Testing and Laboratory Equipment”, at Khirdalan, Baku, Azerbaijan. Bidding is open to bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

2. The Azeravtoyol OJSC (AAY) (“the Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Supply and Delivery of Construction Material Testing and Laboratory Equipment”, at AAY Laboratory located in Khirdalan, Baku, Azerbaijan, as per detailed list with type, Quantity and Specifications etc. specified in bidding document and briefly outline below:

Section A - Sieves, Sample Splitters and other accessories

Section B – Tests on Soils

Section C - Tests on Concrete

Section D - Tests on Cement

Section E - Tests on Aggregates

Section F – Test on Asphalt and Asphalt Mixes

Section G -General Laboratory and Field Testing Equipment/Extras/Spares

Section H - Non-Destructive Test (NDT) Equipment

Section I - Traffic Engineering and Pavement Testing Equipment

Section J – Laser Profiler

Section K - Falling Weight Deflectometer

Eligible bidders to participate the bid should meet qualifications as specified in the Section III of the Bidding Documents.

3. International competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with Single - Stage: One Envelop procedure and is open to all bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.

5. Pre-bid meeting will be organized for interested bidders at the above on May 12, 2017 at 14:00 hours (local time).

Bids will be opened immediately after the deadline for bid submission in the presence of bidders’representatives who choose to attend.

7. The AAY will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by bidders in connection with the preparation or delivery of bids.
